What We Do

FASANO ASSOCIATES is UNDERWRITING CENTRAL. Fasano Associates is a leading underwriting consulting firm serving the life settlements market. Fasano’s life expectancy estimates are the most accurate in the business, with an actual to expected ratio of 99%, based on its most recent independent actuarial analysis– which was based on its actual, not restated, life expectancy estimates. Fasano’ estimates also have been the most consistent, and as a result, Fasano has not had to make dramatic and costly changes to its life expectancy estimates. Fasano is unique is its employment of physician Medical Directors at the core of its analytic process. Our Professional staff includes former Chief and Senior Medical Directors of New York Life, First Colony (Genworth), Provident Mutual and John Hancock Life. Fasano has also been at the forefront of actuarial research in the life settlement space, developing the first set of mortality tables that account for the different mortality patterns reflected at different mortality levels.
