Innovation is key in today’s business world – innovation in creativity, innovation in problem solving, innovation in technology, innovation in how it’s applied, etc. And all of this innovation depends on the expertise of people and how it is applied. In a recent presentation during the LISA Forum Asia CHINA FOCUS in Beijing, Dr. Barbara Moser-Mercer (VP of the School of Translation and Interpretation at the University of Geneva) shared new research that can help us to understand how people work together virtually to construct knowledge across cultural and linguistic boundaries, and thus enable us to build more effective multicultural teams in the business world.
