Is Your Company Ready to Enter the U.S. Market?
(Part 1 of 3)

Rebecca Ray, Global Business Editor

The economy is beginning to pick up again in the U.S., so it’s time to seriously consider expanding into that market if you are a non-U.S. company that has not done so. The U.S. software market, in particular, remains by far the largest, most sophisticated and competitive in the world. Prior to “getting your feet wet,” performing an expansion audit of your existing organization will go a long way towards ensuring success.

In part one of a three-part series, Rebecca outlines how to prepare for the audit and provides guidelines for auditing the Executive Team. Included is a section on auditing internal processes, along with a valuable list of web resources. In parts two and three, she will cover auditing at the departmental levels, how to develop an action plan and two strategies for determining if you’re finally ready to enter the U.S. market.
