Call for Comments on TMX 1.4 Specification Working Draft

The working draft of the TMX 1.4 Specification has been released and is open for public comment, which can be submitted via the TMX mailing list.

The working draft of the TMX 1.4 Specification and its associated documents and material has been published (http://www.lisa.org/tmx/tmx14/).

The purpose of the TMX format is to provide a standard method to describe translation memory data that is being exchanged among tools and/or translation vendors, while introducing little or no loss of critical data during the process. The version 1.4 of TMX aims at providing a better interoperability, with a focus on segments with content markup.

Please review the material and submit any comments by June 1, 2002. Comments should preferably be submitted via the TMX public mailing list (http://www.lisa.org/tmx). To help us process your comments, please submit each comment separately or number them clearly.

Many thanks,

OSCAR TMX Subcommittee
