
Terminology SIG Meeting, October 25
The LISA Terminology Special Interest Group (SIG) comprises a team of industry professionals working together to promote terminology management as an essential part of the globalization process.
This year the Terminology SIG will meet at the LISA Forum Europe in Berlin, on Thursday, October 25.
The meeting is structured as follows:
The Morning session (8:45- 12:15) is open to all LISA members and will cover two topics: "All about the LISA Terminology Special Interest Group" and "TBX, TBX-Link and TBX-Basic".
The afternoon session (13:30 - 17:00) is reserved for SIG Members to discuss previous, ongoing and new projects.

SIG Meeting Agenda
Meeting open to all LISA Members 08:45 - 10:15 All about the LISA Terminology Special Interest Group Members of the LISA Terminology SIG will be present at this open meeting to discuss the activities of this group and how it is driving improvements in content management with respect to terminology and other language assets. The purpose of this meeting is to invite interested LISA members to join the group and also to obtain feedback about the activities of the SIG. 10:15 - 10:45 Coffee Break 09:45 - 10:45 TBX, TBX-Link and TBX-Basic During this meeting these standards will be presented. Various methods of implementing and validating a TBX-compliant terminology file will be discussed. Several validating parsers may also be demonstrated. The purpose of the meeting is to obtain feedback about TBX, to generate ideas about implementing TBX and to identify any possible areas of improvement. 12:15 - 13:30 Lunch Terminology SIG Members meeting 13:30 - 14:30 Review and Closure of Past Projects 14:30 - 15:00 Coffee Break 15:00 - 17:00 Discussion and Planning of Next Projects
