Accommodation
The Clark Kerr Campus is a historic 1930s, Spanish mission style complex located approximately six blocks southeast of the main UC Berkeley campus. As a university conference center, it offers both residence hall and suite accommodations. The suites ($110 single, $90 double) include either two or three bedrooms, a shared bathroom, sitting area, and separate locked entrance. Single and double rooms are available in the residence halls ($100 single, $85 double); each floor offers a central, single-gender bathroom.
The service level of housing that will be provided for guests is:
Superior – Beds are made prior to arrival with pillow, pillow case, sheets, blanket and bedspread. Two towels, face cloth and bar of soap are provided and a small lamp is placed on each desk. Beds are made, rooms cleaned and towels changed daily. To welcome guests, a special gift is placed in each room. Common areas and bathrooms in the residence halls are also cleaned daily.
Please NOTE: Lost keys and keys not returned upon check-out are subject to a replacement fee; $50.00 for regular rooms and $75.00 for suites and apartments.

Cancellation and no show policy
No Show: An individual who does not check in to the residence hall for the entire length of the stay will be charged as a no-show. No-shows will be charged at the package rate (Package rates per person are $ 185/145 for single/double occupancy rooms in the Residence Halls and $ 205/155 for single/double occupancy rooms in Suites.
Individual Cancellation: The individual cancellations can be made up to three (3) business days prior to arrival without charge.
Dining
Breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks will be offered at the Clark Kerr Conference Center. Clark Kerr is green and organic certified and always offers a 100% organic salad bar. In addition to the dining commons, there is an outdoor courtyard patio.
On Wednesday there is another wonderful networking opportunity – a three-hours cruise around the San Francisco Bay at sunset. The cruise price includes buffet dinner, welcome glass of champagne, soft drinks, mineral water, fruit juices, coffee, tea, no-host open bar (attendees pay for their alcoholic beverages), and round-trip transportation from the conference center.
The Clark Kerr Conference Center is located within easy walking distance to the College Avenue bistro and shopping district. There are many moderate-priced small restaurants, cafes, and boutiques along College Avenue, near Ashby. A Wells Fargo Bank is on the corner of College Avenue and Ashby. Banking hours are 09:00 to 18:00, Monday through Saturday; closed on Sunday.

Booking flights: To be able to use the discount, all travel must be booked online. Flights are capacity controlled and any flight is entitled to the 5% discount as long as it fits the criteria outlined below. All flights in a reservation must include valid routes and travel dates in order to receive a discount. If only one direction of travel is valid, please book your valid flight as a one way trip using the promotional code and the other segment as a one way trip without the code.
Changes: Any changes to an itinerary booked with a promotional code will be subject to a change fee, any applicable increase in airfare, and it will also result in the removal of the discount.
Cancellations: Booking may be cancelled, but will be subject to a cancellation fee.
Parking
Day and overnight parking passes at University parking are available for about $20/day. Please contact events@lisa.org if you need parking slot.

Go to the link and enter an airport (SFO or OAK) and your first and last name. You will see that your discount code (VAC35) has already been populated. Click next, and you will get the message “you are about to view pages on a secure site, do you want to continue”? Click yes and the next page displays your group name and the various discounts available.
Public transportation
Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) is available from the Oakland International Airport (OAK) and the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to the Rockridge BART station. BART tickets may be purchased with cash, debit, or credit cards at the BART stations.
From the Oakland International Airport, take the “Air-BART” shuttle from the terminal to the Coliseum BART station. From the Coliseum BART station take the Richmond BART train to the MacArthur station and transfer to the Pittsburg/Bay Point BART train. Exit at the Rockridge BART station. The BART fare from the Oakland International Airport to the Rockridge BART station is $1.95, one-way.
From the San Francisco International Airport, take Pittsburg Bay Point BART to the Rockridge BART station. The BART fare from the San Francisco International Airport to the Rockridge BART station is $5.85, one-way.
Before you exit the Rockridge BART station, obtain a BART-to-bus transfer from the machine.

From the Rockridge BART station, take the AC Transit #7 bus to the Clark Kerr Campus Conference Center, Warring and Parker Street stop. With the BART-to-bus transfer, the fare on AC Transit is $1.50 (exact change, bills and coins accepted). Without the BART-to-bus transfer, the fare on AC Transit is $1.75.
