The 2009 LISA Forum Europe in Tallinn addressed the ways in which outsourced applications development and globalization services are now converging to better deliver value to companies looking to reach world markets. In times of economic difficulty, outsourced service providers must be better able to articulate the value they play and their ability to provide integrated, mission-critical services to their customers. Integrating globalization concerns into the software development process provides greater flexibility to customers and enables them to meet international goals without the costs and delays that frequently plague globalization efforts.
