Overview

The world has become a very small place, and success in international markets requires an integrated approach to product design concepts and business processes. The winners in the 21st century will be the companies that understand this vision and make enterprise globalization a focal point of their strategy.

Featuring keynote presentations by Steve Tait - Vice President, Xerox Global Document Services - and David Brooks - Microsoft Senior Director, International Product Strategy - LISA moves its focus well beyond software localization. By examining the challenges for IT and other companies as they attempt to globalize their products and services, the Forum will concentrate on the total pre-sales, product, and post-sales efforts, including e-support, testing, and marketing communications. Among the companies presenting are Documentum, General Motors, Global Sight Corp., ITP Limited, J&A Associates, LionBridge, Logos Corporation, Lycos Inc., Skysoft Corporation, Sobrio International, Unisys Corp. and VeriTest.

Through separate business and technology workgroup discussion tracks, panel presentations, and case studies, LISA will examine how companies are changing their thinking about software localization and are becoming increasingly influenced by the challenge and profitability of an Enterprise Globalization Services strategy.
