Defining Business Best Practice for Globalization

In response to numerous queries regarding ethics and business practices in the Globalization Services industry, LISA has developed these standards for ethical business practices. The purpose of this effort is to provide a common reference for both suppliers and consumers of localization and related services as to what constitutes ethical behavior with regard to globalization-specific issues. It is not intended as a general ethical guideline for all aspects of business practice and effort.

These guidelines also include a model contract for globalization services that covers basic requirements in contracts and that can assist purchasers of globalization services in making sure that their contracts represent industry best practice.
