Hybrid Models

In most cases one of the other models described here will be suitable for developers, but in some cases they may want models that combine aspects of other models. For example, a developer may want the control that working with SLVs offers for some core markets, but may outsource others to an MLV. In other cases a developer may work with distributors for some smaller markets, while using a direct localization model for others.

Localization models should be chosen based on business needs, not simple based on common practice. The result is that over time models will change for an organization and that as priorities change, organizations may need to seek the best aspects of a variety of models.
